The questions owners and leadership teams ask us most. Select a question to see the answer. If yours isn't here, ask us directly. A first conversation costs nothing.
The Targeted Review is a focused look at one area of the business, with select interviews and time alongside your team, ending in documented gaps, pinch points and opportunities. The Comprehensive Review is our most complete look: your core processes start to finish, an employee survey, a scored report with ranked priorities and a 90-day check-in.
If you have a specific area in mind, or want to see how we work before committing further, the Targeted Review is a good start. If you want the full picture of how the business runs, start with the Comprehensive Review. We'll give you a straight recommendation in the first conversation.
Most of our clients have between 10 and 100 employees, and the assessments scale in steps with the size of your team. If you're outside that range, talk to us anyway; we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
Each assessment is tailored in scope and price to your business, based mainly on the size of your team and the areas we agree to cover. After our initial meeting, you'll receive a clearly defined, customized quote that sets out exactly what's included, all before any work begins.
It's a longer engagement by design. To show you clearly what's working, what isn't, where there's room to improve and where you're already winning, we need to understand your business in real depth.
The exact length depends on the size of your team, the type of work you do, the complexity of your operations and the areas we agree to cover. Once we've scoped it together, we'll set out a clear timeline from start to final report and keep you updated at every stage.
We'll interview the owner or CEO, general manager and operations manager where appropriate, spend time alongside a few key employees, and invite the wider team to complete a short survey. We schedule around your operations so the day-to-day keeps running.
Your core documents: existing reports, process documents and organization chart. The Comprehensive Review also includes a financial review, and we'll agree its depth with you at scoping, from full statements to margins and summary figures, whichever suits you.
A written report that scores your business against a maturity scale and industry figures, with documented gaps, pinch points and opportunities and a ranked list of priorities. We walk you through it in person, then return after 90 days to review progress.
The report is where the real improvement begins. In our scoping meeting, we'll agree on the level of support you'll have after it's delivered, and we can adjust that as priorities become clear. From there, we coach and guide your team through a clear, practical set of action items, with defined owners, timelines and regular check-ins, so progress is measured and everyone stays accountable for lasting results.
We put the priorities into action together. The level of support you'll have after the report is set during our scoping meeting and can be adjusted as your needs change. We work alongside your team on the highest-value items first, and our additional services can be added wherever specialist help is needed.
We agree a targeted, functional scope with you beforehand. We then hold select interviews with leadership and key employees and spend time alongside your team to understand key roles and processes in that area. Time on site depends on the area and the size of your team, and we agree it with you up front.
Documented gaps, pinch points and opportunities for the area we reviewed. If you'd like help acting on them, we offer a gap closure plan with guided accountability as an optional add-on, quoted separately.
Yes. Targeted Review clients receive a discount when moving on to a Comprehensive Review, and the work already done carries forward.
No. If you already know what you need, such as a safety program review or a CRM setup, we can start there. Most clients begin with a Targeted or Comprehensive Review because it shows where these services will make the biggest difference.
Yes. That's what these services are for, from leadership development and process documentation to KPI dashboards, CRM setup, practical AI adoption and safety programs. We scope each piece separately, so you decide what to take on and when.
Each one is scoped and quoted on its own, based on the work involved and the size of your team. Before any work begins, you'll receive either a detailed project quote or our rate sheet, depending on the nature of the engagement, so the cost is clear from the start.
That's the aim. We build everything for your team to own: written procedures, dashboards they can read at a glance, and training for the people who will use them day to day.
Yes. Working inside your existing software and systems is how we understand the structures, processes and safeguards your business runs on, and where the pinch points are.
Where it would help, we may suggest integrations or point to options worth considering. We also recognize that technology decisions are often tied to larger plans and commitments. We meet you where you are, and work with you to get where you want to be.
Yes. Everything you share is kept confidential under our Terms and Conditions, and we're happy to sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement where the work calls for it.
Very little. We plan interviews and on-site time around your schedule, and time alongside your team is about observing normal work, not stopping it.
We're there to understand the work, not to judge the people doing it. We explain our role up front, listen more than we talk, and treat every conversation with respect. Most teams find it a chance to be heard.
We're based in Burlington, Ontario, and work with businesses across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area and well beyond, including small businesses in rural and smaller communities.
Much of our work can be delivered on a fractional basis, and we're glad to travel, so distance is never a barrier to working together.
Ask us directly. A first conversation costs nothing, and we'll tell you plainly whether an assessment is the right next step.
